Synopsis
A housemaid with the gift of mediumship is left in charge of an abandoned mansion.
In its decaying spaces, the ghosts of maids, chauffeurs and gardeners manifest to narrate intimate, supernatural and tragic experiences, in counterpoint to the voices of their former masters, responsible for much of their suffering but also for their moments of happiness.
Performed by professional actors and real domestic workers, the film weaves a dialogue of memories where social dynamics emerge and fade among the ruins.

John Petrizzelli
Journalist, screenwriter and film director. Petrizzelli has written and directed fiction and documentary films. Among his most important productions are: Falsas Historias (1992), Carrao (1998), and the feature films: María Lionza, Aliento de Orquídeas, Er Relajo der Loro, El Santo Salvaje, Ti@s and Bárbara produced between 2007 and 2018 and the shorts Don Fernando, Inmaculada and El Pozo between 2019 and 2023. He has also written the narrative books Negro Lógico (1988), Historias para las Posibilidades del Músculo (2017) and El Conjuro de los Cardos (2020)
In Home Stories, Petrizzelli writes, directs and produces a filmic universe where memory, the supernatural and social relations converge within the decaying spaces of an abandoned mansion.
An abandoned mansion, a housemaid with psychic abilities, and the ghosts of those who once lived there. When a housemaid with psychic abilities is left in charge of an abandoned mansion, the ghosts of its former masters and servants appear to tell stories of love, pain and tragedy.
